Day 3 - JAX to Orlando - 4/23/16

I-95 and I-4 traffic in Florida is getting to the point where it's almost like the BQE.  Took 2:45 to get to get to the Fountains.  We unloaded, hit Chick-Fil-A, and got to Hollywood Studios for 5 hours.

Day 2 - Busch Gardens + Rain

Two thunderstorms at Busch Gardens limited us to 4 rides, but at least one of them was the Loch Ness Monster.  Verbolten was awesome!  Only coaster that I know of that drops the whole track 2 levels.  We made an early exit and wound up in...guess where ???  Cracker Barrel !  After that it was a straight drive to JAX to get Andy.

Late arrival = Free room upgrade

Strange looking room. Looks like they took two rooms and made one into a kitchen and the other into a bedroom. The reward we get for arriving late due to a bomb scare in D.C. :)

Day 1 - "Fake bomb blows up timetable for Weiss Vacation"

Arrived in Williamsburg almost 4 hours late

First we got a 90 minute delayed start due to late packing. I won't single out the culprit(s)

We were making good time until we got to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge to go from D.C. to VA when we traffic stopped moving. We sat for 15 minutes without moving and finally got off on a local street. Let's just say the area we drove around was on a par with East NY. Finally I had to go to the bathroom, so I went into a Comfort Inn. I asked the desk clerk what was going on and he said "Suspicious Package on the bridge, it could be closed for hours". Lucky for me he had gr8 directions to double back and get around the traffic, which ground to a standstill. We drove 15 min up and cut through D.C. Itself and then got to VA. Traffic was heavy since by now everyone was being diverted, but we made it !!!  We arrived at the hotel at 12:45am.  The girls ate Wendy's in the car and Donna an I feasted on Santora chicken cutlets in traffic !
